Specifying Glazed Partitions

We’re incredibly proud to announce that our very first CPD, ‘Specifying Glazed Partitions,’ has now been formally approved by RIBA.

Fitting within the design, construction and technology section of RIBA’s Core curriculum subjects, the educational presentation covers the following topics:

• An overview of acoustics

• How acoustics are tested and the impact on specification

• The different types of glass and their attributes

• The impact of the Equality Act 2010 on specification

• The relationship between glazed partitions and WELL certification

Acoustic glazed partitions, when specified correctly, can bring a transformative element to office workspaces and commercial buildings. And approval of our presentation comes at a critical time for those in the office fit-out sector, as an emphasis on creating collaborative workplaces continues to grow in popularity.

The 45-minute session will be offered to architects and contractors located in London and the surrounding areas initially and is able to be presented in-person or online via Teams/Google Meet.

Director, Oliver Davies, believes the news is another important step forwards for SioSystems’ growth:

“I’m delighted we’ve received RIBA approval for our CPD. Not only is it another example of our expertise within the industry, it also highlights the steps we’re taking to provide support to architects throughout their journey with us.”
