Solar shading and acoustics solutions leader Waverley has continued its strategic growth journey with the acquisition of SioSystems.

The acquisition strengthens our portfolio for architects, designers and contractors working in the commercial, public sector, hospitality and education sectors.

Waverley are the industry-leading designers, manufacturers and installers of solar shading, screening and acoustic solutions, creating extraordinary interior spaces through the use of window blinds and curtains.

Daniel James, Managing Director of Waverley, said:

“This acquisition is another step on our journey to become the leading specialist in shading, acoustic and decorative interior solutions. We will invest in further product development to make sure SioSystems continues at the cutting edge in its field. The trend of combining sheer curtains with glazed partitions to improve aesthetics and acoustic performance means there is a good deal of synergy between the two entities.”

Oliver Davies, Director at SioSystems said:

“This exciting move aligns with our original vision for Sio and will propel it’s growth strategy. With Waverley’s market knowledge and investment, our creative R&D team is eager to bring new acoustic partitioning innovations to market in the near future.”

SioSystems will operate as a stand-alone division within Waverley and Oliver Davies will continue to lead the division supported by an enlarged technical and installation team to facilitate growth across UK and Europe.
